myG Offers is a catalogue of offers printed in myG’s newspaper advertisements. There is no account to create, nothing to buy here, and no advertising or analytics tracker on any page.

What is stored about you

Two things, both of which you can clear at any time from your browser:

• The showroom you chose. A cookie holding one showroom identifier. It exists because prices differ by showroom and the site cannot show you your price without it. It is not linked to you, and it is not shared.
• The language you chose. A cookie holding one language code.

Neither is used for advertising or profiling. Both are functional — they change what the page shows — which is why this site has no cookie consent banner to dismiss.

Your location

If you tap Use my location, your browser asks your permission and sends coordinates to this site once, to sort showrooms by distance. The coordinates are used for that request and are not written to any database or log. Decline, and the showroom picker works exactly the same — you choose from the list instead.

Scanning a QR code from the newspaper

A code printed on a myG advertisement records that it was scanned, so myG can tell which advertisements people read. That record holds the date, a device class (phone, tablet or computer), a country, and the site that referred you if there was one.

It does not hold your IP address, a device identifier, a cookie, or your full browser string. There is nothing in it that could be traced back to you, and nothing that links one scan to another.

What is never collected

• Names, phone numbers, email addresses or postal addresses.
• Payment details — nothing is sold on this site.
• Anything that identifies you across visits or across devices.
• Third-party advertising, retargeting or social pixels.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have rights over personal data held about you. Because this site holds none, there is generally nothing to request, correct or erase. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look and tell you what we find.

Visiting a showroom is a separate matter: anything you give a showroom in person — for a purchase, a warranty or a service request — is handled under myG’s own policies, not this one.

Changes

This page is dated. If what the site does changes, this page changes on the same day and the date above changes with it.
